1.) Control Ports (Pitch: 2.54 mm)
  • 5V: Internal regulated 5V output. Note:Only for external potentiometer speed regulation and direction switches. Do not connect to external electronic devices.
  • Signal: Motor speed pulse signal output (5V pulse, maximum output current < 5mA).
  • Z/F: Rotating direction control. Connect to 5V (or leave unconnected) for Forward direction; connect to GND/0V for Reverse direction.
  • VR: Speed control input. Connects to 0.1V–5V analog voltage. If using PWM speed regulation, connect this terminal to GND.
  • GND: Driver board internal control common ground.
2.) Power & Motor Ports (Pitch: 3.96 mm)
  • MC / MB / MA: Connects to Phase C, Phase B, and Phase A of the 3-Phase Brushless Motor respectively.
  • GND: DC Power Supply Negative (-) Pole.

6. Application Notes & Best Practices

CRITICAL WARNING: No Anti-Reverse Protection
The JYQD-V6.3E2 driver board DOES NOT have anti-reverse connection protection on the power input. Reversing positive (+) and negative (-) power inputs will cause immediate and permanent damage to the driver ICs and MOSFETs.

  • Thermal Management: If your brushless motor's rated power is below 60W, standard ventilation is sufficient. If the continuous motor power exceeds 100W, a suitable heatsink (aluminum or copper) must be securely mounted onto the driver MOSFETs. Ensure adequate electrical insulation between the MOSFET thermal pad and the heatsink.
  • External Output Restriction: The 5V output port is reserved strictly for local speed potentiometers and direction switches. Connecting high-load external devices to this pin will burn out the internal LDO.
  • Sensorless Compatibility Tuning: While designed as a universal 3 phase bldc motor controller, some sensorless motors may experience startup jitter or large no-load currents depending on their inductance/resistance profiles. In such cases, tuning the peripheral resistor/capacitor values on the board can solve start-up failures under load.
  • Wiring Distance: If the distance between the driver board and the motor exceeds 50 cm, shielded cables must be used to mitigate high-frequency EMF interference.
